I feel anxious and afraid of the future.
I feel lonely and cut off from others.
I feel like I never have enough time and that my life is running away from me.
I feel like I have to run faster and faster just to stay in place.
I feel like I don’t matter to anyone.
I feel replaceable.
I feel like every aspect of my life has become commercialized, has become a product.
I feel as though I have become a product.
I feel trapped in a system that cuts me off from my humanity and my empathy.
I am tired.
I am tired of meaningless, repetitive work.
I am tired of fighting through traffic.
I am tired of feeling like I have no ability to affect my future.
I am tired of feeling alone.
I am tired of feeling inadequate.
I am tired of living in a world where economic growth means the destruction of the planet.
I long for deeper connections to others and the Earth.
I long for local, healthy, and trustworthy food.
I long for meaningful conversations.
I long to feel like I belong.
I long to feel the freedom to be me.
I long to feel secure and at peace.
I long to feel like there is a future for my children and grandchildren.
I long for more meaningful, creative work, for a slower life, where there is time to sing and dance, and spend time in nature.
I long to come back home to community, to nature, to the local.
